Hi team!
Welcome to the first edition of Tech Notes.
I’m going to try to send this out semi-regularly and it’ll basically be a roundup of anything tech-related I think is worth your attention. Tools, tips, AI stuff, things happening inside the business — that kind of thing.
Some of it will be directly useful to your day. Some of it’s more just good to know. Either way there will hopefully be something useful for everyone.
TOOL SPOTLIGHT COTYPIST
If you spend a lot of your day writing emails, reports, CRM notes or client updates, Cotypist is worth a look.
Cotypist is a predictive text tool that suggests how to finish your sentences as you type, across almost every app on your Mac. Unlike most AI writing tools, it runs locally on your machine, meaning what you type isn't sent to external AI services for processing (and kept private!)
The more you use it, the more it learns your writing style, vocabulary and commonly used phrases. It can also use context from what's on your screen to provide more relevant suggestions, making the predictions surprisingly accurate.
For those familiar with Wispr Flow, Cotypist can be a great alternative when voice dictation isn't practical — whether you're in the office, on a train, in a meeting, or simply don't want to be talking to your laptop.
Cost: Free for up to 100 completed words per day, or $8/Month paid.

Getting Started: Installation takes only a few minutes, though you'll need to grant Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions during setup so Cotypist can work across applications and understand context.
STAYING INFORMED THE RUNDOWN AI
If you’re interested in AI and want an easy way to keep up with what’s happening in the space, The Rundown AI is worth subscribing to.
It’s a free newsletter sent every weekday, covering new AI tools, major announcements, useful tips, and developments across the industry. Some topics can be a little technical (they sometimes go over my head too), but it’s a great way to gradually build your understanding of AI and stay informed on what’s changing, and how it's impacting our world.

And that’s all for now!
If you found any of this useful, let me know and I’ll keep sharing things like this in future editions. If you have any questions about anything mentioned above, or need a hand getting set up, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I’d also love to hear any ideas, feedback, frustrations, or tech rabbit holes you’d like me to explore next.
And as always, if there’s anything I might be able to do to make your day a little easier, my door (and inbox) is always open.
Over & Out,
Bethy 🎀
